- Swelling in the throat
- Increased perspiration
- Drug ineffectiveness
- Watery eyes
- ifficulty opening the mouth
- Abnormal bleeding.
Some people have also suffered heparin shock and there have been 4 cases of death too.
All these adverse reactions to the heparin drug have been observed in patients who were undergoing one of the following three medical treatments:
- Invasive cardiovascular procedures
- Dialysis for kidney failure
- Apheresis procedures
The FDA has issued a press release advising customers to stop the use of Baxter heparin.
